Groups of any kind can be catered for here at Castlepoint Holiday Park and Motels. We have two flats, the Ranch House, Cook House and the Bunk House which together can accommodate up to 76 people. The Kitchens are large and have everything you need to cater for the troops and there are large outdoor areas stretching out across the road to the beach. Such a unique location provides a great educational opportunity for kids to learn about the exciting ecology, history and geography of this fantastic East Coast environment. The Cook House is situated on it's own section, and is fully self-contained providing accommodation for up to 12 people. Cook House has four bedrooms, two rooms have queen sized beds, and two other rooms have sets of bunks (king single and single). The beds have fitted mattress protectors, pillow and pillow case. Fitted bottom sheets provided. You are welcome to bring your own bedding or you can hire them from us here at the Holiday Park.
The Cook House has a fully equipped kitchen including a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, oven, pots, pans, toaster, electric jug, electric frying pan, plates, cutlery, glasses and tea towels. BBQ is available to enjoy al fresco dining Kiwi style! Enjoy the open plan living and dining areas, there is also a sun porch, the lounge has comfortable furnishings and a cozy fire to cuddle up next to and there is a television with Freeview. A DVD player is also available. You have your own private bathroom with a shower and a separate toilet, and there is a washing machine for you to use during your stay. No Dogs allowed.
The Ranch House here at Castlepoint Holiday Park offers rustic bunk style accommodation sleeping up to 18 people. This option is great for groups of any kind with four bedrooms; Bedroom 1 has a double/single bunk set, bedroom 2 has a double/single bunk and a single set of bunks, bedroom 3 has two sets of bunks and bedroom 4 has three sets of bunks. No linen or bedding is supplied other than each mattress having a fitted mattress protector and pillow with pillow case. There is fitted bottom sheets supplied for your use if required. You can bring your own bedding or you can hire sleeping bags from us here at the Holiday Park. The lounge and dining area is large with plenty of couches and a television. There is also a free-standing fireplace to keep the group cozy during the cooler months. The Ranch House has a large older style kitchen that is fully self-contained with two ovens, two fridges, microwave and a chest freezer. All cooking utensils, pots, pans, cutlery and crockery are supplied for you. Bathroom area has 2 showers and 2 toilets. A communal laundry is available. A BBQ and a recycling station is located at the rear of the unit. No Dogs allowed.

A short walk to the sea and the light house. No linen or bedding is supplied other than each mattress having a fitted mattress protector and pillow and pillow case. There is fitted bottom sheets supplied for your use if required. You can bring your own bedding or we have sleeping bags available for hire. The six bedrooms are located off one long hallway. Most rooms sleep between 5 and 6 people with bunks in each room.
The lounge and dining areas are absolutely huge with plenty of couches and a television with freeview, there is also a free-standing gas fire to get the group cosy during the cooler months of winter. The Bunk House has a large fully self-contained kitchen with a dish washer, two ovens, two fridges, water urn, microwave and a chest freezer. All cooking utensils, pots, pans, cutlery and crockery are supplied for you. There is a automatic washing machine. Large bathroom with gas hot water, 2 showers and 2 toilets. A BBQ is available.
The Wai Ngaio Retreat, with its ever changing Pacific Ocean views is a large lodge set back in the hill about 3kms from the isolated beach settlement of Otahome. Otahome is situated mid- way between the beach resorts of Castlepoint and Riversdale on the East Coast of the Wairarapa. It takes approx 45 minutes to drive here from Masterton and it is a 50 minute drive to Castlepoint.
